The Rokko Kokusai Golf Club became available for play in 1975.
In 1996, under the supervision of Jack "The Golden Bear" Nicklaus,
the club benefited from a renovation at the hands of a renowned
golf course shaper whose work graced numerous
big-name courses in his home country of the US,
the epicenter of the golf world. As a result,
the course as it exists now represents a faithful
representation of a golf course as it should be.
The East Course of the club, which is renowned
for its magnificent scale and beauty,
shall host this year's Panasonic Open.
